Tempo Poem- Quite Mind
Drip, Drip
The rain drips softly on the grass.
BOOM, BANG
The thunder claims his place.
s w i s h
the curtains return to there original motion
c r e e e k
the chair states as i sit back down, and continue to read, to calm my shame.
Short Poem- Unusual Love Story
So much depends
on the rising sun.
projecting its rays
to start off our days
and we expect the
moon to tell us goodnight
the sun and the moon
love what they do..
but they can never
be together, long distance
lovers
destined for
forever.
Unspoken Words
My heart belongs to you,
whether you cling to it
with sweet caresses
or
stomp on it with malicious silence
i once thought we were inevitably external,
that nothing in existence
could tear us apart,
but now i'm left with
a messy bed,
a tarnished core,
and a mind cluttered
with all the things
you left unsaid.
